Porsche 936-78 Turbo "Martini"-Tamiya 1:24

Post by RodolfoMas »

Hello everyone,
I’ve started working on this tamiya kit:

To build a replica of the Porsche 936/78 Martini No. 6 entered in the 1978 "24 Hours of Le Mans", which was driven by the following crew:
Bob Wollek, Jürgen Barth, and the legendary Jacky Ickx.
This car, run by the Martini Racing Porsche System team, finished the race in second place overall, behind the Renault‑Alpine A442, which won that edition.

A quick look inside the box:

For me, white has always been the hardest color to work with...

After a long ‘battle’ I finally managed to apply the decals. I still need to fix a few details before the final semi-gloss clear coat.

Looks good man I can see the battle scars on the Martin stripes. Racing cars are always full on to decal

Final details are in and the semi‑gloss clear is done... I'd say it's ready to hit the track.
