paint quiestiono

Hi as i warned in my introduction time to ask a question :jd:
Paint matching the b-17 i have is a Revell so the paint codes are revell ive converted those into humbrol but seem to be finding it hard to convert to tamia so should i stick to humbrol as ide like to start getting my paints in ty in advance

If you have a smart phone you can try an app called Imodelkit to do the conversion. Otherwise put the paint codes in this post and i'll have a go at converting them. If you are going acrylic(e.g Tamiya) it'd be worth looking up the Mr Hobby range. They work just as well as Tamiya but have way more colours in the range.

Ok ill do a scan of the paint's i need ty and yes ill be going down the acrylic path the problem seems to be conflicting information ie the codes dont check out or maybe im being a numpty lol as far as mr hobby paints go ive bin trying to find a shop local so i can pick them up but with no luck

Right, took me a while so here is my best guess. Check where the colors will go and see if you agree with the matches. Not all of them have a direct match though

I use Tamiya XF-62 for Olive Drab paint schemes.
