Matilda MKII 1st Army Tank Brigade North Africa 1941

Post by hansolo »

Hi guys,
For a while I've been wanting to build the beautiful Matilda MKII Tank.
And I finally got around to it.
And here she is in all her gritty desert glory.

Hope you like!

Thanks Michael!
Appreciate it.
As in the last model (the italian light tank conversion) I used the hairspray method.
I know from your videos that you're not a fan of this technique, but it's easy and very controllable. :thumb1:

That is killer!, Sick! Crazy good!

You need to produce some videos showing how you do all the stages of painting to get that final weathered and battle weary look. Especially for novices like me who can only dream of being that good.

Cheers,

Martin.

Thank you so much, Martin!
I'm not sure about those videos. I'm kinda shy with that stuff and it's a lot of work.
But what I can do, is write in more detail about what I do and how I do it, in the next build. :thumb1:
