1st airbrush use

Post by johnpd »

Well having getting my airbrush and then deciding to take it apart to see all the components. It wouldn't work!! It wouldn't spray proper. I have finally fixed it yay. I had put a piece in the wrong way. Doh! I have finally primed pre shaded and put my first coat of paint down on my p47 thunderbolt.

Note to self. ...... read instructions first !!!!

Ouch! :)
Glad you fixed it...may I ask what airbrush you got for your first? Reason I'm asking is I'm in the market myself, but feel very uncertain about it all as I have no experience with em :)
Thanks in advance!

I got a cheap one of eBay to be going on with. It's was the airbrush and compressor. Go on ebay and type in airbrush kit and it's called baby elephant. Must admit even tho it was cheap it sprays pretty good.

I was looking at getting as186 compressor and harder steamback airbrush. But didn't have the money. So arriving up for them

I watched them loads. But cause my airbrush is a cheap and nasty one it seems different to the one ones you use at the back of the button there is a little piece of metal that makes it flush with spring and I had put it in the wrong way. Itss a bit flimsy on the inside. I'm currently trying to keep the wife on my good side so I can get a iwata or the harder steemback. As of yet it ain't working
