Star Wars AT-ST

Post by Mike00 »

A few years ago I built the the MPC AT-ST. This was a snap together kit, and not a lot of detail. After building it lived in a back corner of the cabinet where I display other modeling works.

Earlier this year I moved to a new home. I packed things away and moved. When unpacking I came across the AT-ST, and it's leg, foot, and Laser guns were broken. I thought just throw it away(after robbing it for parts of coarse), and then I thought it has occupied the corner of the cabinet for years maybe it deserves better than the trash can. So here we are, I decided to fix it and try to do a diorama for the Shelf of Doom build.

The AT-ST first appeared In The Empire Strikes Back during the snow battle on the planet Hoth. In Return of The Jedi the AT-ST played a bigger role in the finale battle on the moon of Endor.

To make the foot stronger I drilled holes and glued in a metal wire.

I then glued the other leg back on and clamed it to dry overnight.

Well that's it for now.
