Just a filler build...need to pass the time

Post by fightnjoe »

And that it was. This is just one of the filler builds between my Hawkenstien 3 build and another project I am committed to.

This is the Academy 1:35 M4A2 Sherman in Russian markings.

Overall it was a fun build with not too many issues. There were a few, would not be one of my builds without issues of some sort.

All are welcome to comment, critique, and criticize.

Looks great Joe - you've done a top job on color modulation there with the single scheme

Critique ? For me this Sherman is not bad. You have done a super model , clean work & subtle weathering, bravo :th: , but here not this "department" . The finished models we presents in: Members Gallery >>> Land Gallery . Here is "department" : work with model from box to the end :cheers2:

Shows how much I really watch what I do.

Could one of the admin/mod team move this? Or should I start a new one there?

Thinking I have another thread in the auto section that is similar. A finished build in the work up section.

Oh yes! What a super looking model. I really like the Russian theme and the subtle finish. Very nicely done all round :th:

Lovely paint and weathering. Is it me or is there something unusual about the 76mm barrel? It looks like it should be pushed further into the mantlet or is there a version of the gun with a fume extractor? Super job for a 'filler' build :thumb1:

Many thanks.

Yes there is something very strange about that barrel.
