Airfix 1/48 Junkers Ju87b-2 Stuka Dive Bomber

Post by UKguyInUSA »

Hello Guys,

I'm just adding my Airfix 1/48 Ju87b-2 "Stuka" Dive Bomber into the Air gallery section. This was one of my entries into the D-Day 70th Anniversary GB wherein the build thread and YouTube videos were included in that thread.

This is the link to the ISM build thread: http://intscalemodeller.com/viewtopic.p ... 1&start=10

I've just watched your build videos and I'd like to thank you for them. I was considering getting this kit but I now think I'll go for one of the Hasegawa or Italeri kits, they may be more expensive but I don't think they'll have the build issues of the Airfix kit?

you've made a very decent job from an average kit, I like the splinter camp :th:

also it was a nice tip from DarthPhotec (spelling?) I'm sure I'll put that to good use sooner or later

Hello WHite, thanks for watching and commenting, much appreciated! :)

Yes, if I was to build another Stuka, it wouldn't be the Airfix kit....they need to retool this model and issue a brand new model much improved with more details.

Yes, the Nail Polish Remover is an awesome tip....works great and is so easy instead of sanding! :)

Cheers :cheers2:
