I have been itching to start this build, thinking back and forward if I shuld start it or not. For many reasons as this is my first and only modern aircraft Iwe had my hands on. I want to build alot of them but I just dont want to ruin the model. I feel quite confident that I will be able to get all the help i need on ISM studying Pauls build videos, and other build threads on modern jets. I now look at it as a challenge, and this will most likley be a very long build, but my time is limited so I just have to dive into it, no one can build everything they want to build so I cant be thinking lets build 2-3 more years to be able to give this one justice. I also want to make an un official entry to Hamilkar Barkas and Russ Gosselins´s (out of your confort zone GB), this is it for me, I cant imagine Ill finnish this within any of the GB rules,wich by the way is not even official yet. but its something that inspired me so I thought Id mention it before I got started. First pictures and my noob comments will be up soon, in any case it might give some comic relief to someone

So I started the basic main pices of the main frame, the edges are non existant in some cases, all detail are extremley well made and all the panel lines line up, but the contact area where you glue is very un even and hard to clean up sence you have no actual edge to follow, some of the outer edeges looks like they have not been filled properly in the mold, but no other evidence in the parts are visible, some edges are also rounded. This is my first Academy kit, alot of sanding and some filler needed, Even thoe the side of the plane looks like poo, the panel lines on top of the wing and underbelly, matched perfectly, Im focusing on getting the top right. Im not going to give up on this one yet. There is for some reason nearly 400 decals in this kit but non for the missiles/ air to air rockets. Found replaceent brassin ones for 6euro. They really shuld have included these.
