Love the Mig and Russian jet fighters in general. Great choice and will follow your build with great interest.

Looks like it'll be a sweet build man! There is just something beautifully rugged about the MiG-17 through to the MiG-21, after that they get all smooth lined. I don't like smooth lined fighters you might be able to tell, all about the ruggedness over here . On other news I think I have a photo of me sitting in a MiG-17 around here somewhere... might have to have a hunt for that.

Now there's something different and the first I've seen so far...someone building a plane that the enemy flew during the Vietnam War!
We're so focused on the allies of that war, we automatically neglect the enemy, yet with WWII....everyone likes to do German Camo schemes, so their plaes are built in abundance!

Looks like a nice subject
And as Martin stated we tend to build the western subjects when it comes to war and military subjects
I am no different from that as i have entered a Panthom but if i can find one i will try to get a Mig aswell

Great choice! AZ kits have quite nice detail. Some are nice to build and some are a struggle...
