I am working on this Academy 1/48 MiG-21MF in Natural Metal and Vietnamese markings. My first attempt at a NMF on a MiG-15 ended up just looking like silver paint so I am trying some new techniques on this one. I used Alclad grey primer, then decanted rattle can gloss black lacquer followed by Alclad Airframe Aluminum overall. It masked pretty well using Tamiya masking tape. I heard about using Tamiya smoke to tint panels so I tried it and love the results. The smoke sprays very well using Mr. Color leveling thinner.

I forgot to take more pictures early in the build.
