Tamyia SU 122

Post by Gb64c »

Doing a work around to a shissen computer, iPhone pics, uploaded to PB and wha la I get to post some low quality pictures.

With that said, I will set up a little photo area with chairs and sheets and see if I can improve on my cobbled set up.

The kit; Tamyia 1:35 SU 122, which may or may not be in production, most of my kits are 20+ years old.

Antenna left off due to future shipping requirments.

Nice fit, no flash, fun and fast to build. Tracks are fine with pigment and painted. Painted with Tamiya acrylic XF81, dark Green aka RAF green, primed with XF flat black, modulated slightly by adding flat white and hitting the middle of the panels.

Future, then decals, future again, oil wash, panel lines, bolts etc... Dry brush oils, streak with oil and turpentine.

MIG and AK pigments.

Figure painted with Vallejo Russian tanker and highlights, face with scale color.

Recomended for people that like Russian armour, good kit for beginners and those that like to produce massive amounts of armour.

I will post more and better as I develop my iPhone studio.

Thanks for looking
