Hello from Northern Ireland.

Post by Doobs11 »

Hi guys,

Just getting back into the hobby after a 20 year hiatus. Had gotten rid of all my modeling equipment quite some time ago. Just spent the last year or so slowly building up my work area and tools etc. started on building up a stash only got about a dozen kits. But they are all ones that I am looking forward to building. I could certainly use any and all help and advice I can get. I would be grateful, the hobby has changed a lot in 20 years.
I look forward to sharing and helping out whenever I can. All I need to do now is work up the nerve to make a start. Lol.

Thanks,
David.

:welcome: to the forum, David! Don't worry, some of the tools and techniques have gotten better/easier but not that much has changed in the world of styrene in 20 years. ;)

What kind of kits do you do? Armor? Aviation? What era?

:cheers2: Cheers! See you around ISM.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I like a wide variety of kits Kyle, no specific type of kit. I buy a kit that peaks my interest for different reasons. It can can be WW2 armour and aircraft or modern MRAP / APC's or jets. I even have a few 1/16 military figures in my stash. It's more the quality or type of build detail for me.
Hope to see you on the forum soon.

Regards,
David.
