well this will be my first entry in to any kind of sig hope these pics are good enough had to do them before i went to work and yes thats all pe its a Big edd pack so this is going to be fun been putting this kit off for a while so thought this would get me motivated

Wow! That's a lot of PE....this should be an interesting build that I can imagine will look great when completed with those extras! :) :thumb1:

These AFV Club strykers look like really nice kits and with all that extra PE should now be in the realms of stonking. Looking forward to seeing this come together.

well started of the mass of pe last night and got well not a lot done the suspension is really well detailed on this kit and the only parts without pe on so really enjoying the easy parts.

well got some more done on this the suspension is really nicely detailed as you will see

this is the only pe on the suspension so flew though this part oh and this pe comes with the kit

think im going to find the bit of kit invaluable with this build

finished the last fold with tamiyas folding tools gets to the parts that most cant reach ;)

got some more work done one side is completely ground down it doesnt have to be perfect because all the rough stuff is going to be hidden as u can see

right down to some more folding well the one side is clean of all the detail and one rail is done

now to stick these little round things on tiny parts

i use super glue i cut all the plastic bags i get with the kits and put them in a box so a new sheet for every blob of glue i need i also use them to mix paints and oils use and trow away

i will do im only doing about hour a day work permitting so slow is the only way i can work

The Photo Etch work is excellent and I have the same PE tool as you. Thanks to your pictures I know learned another way of using it to bend long PE items. :banana: :bow::

well got the other side started finally work sucks

got some folding done today and not saying i know everything but a little tip when you cut the pe of the fret i dont cut to close otherwise i get a pinch in the metal. so i do the same thing that i do when cut plastic away from the fet cut well away from the part but the only problem with pe its a git to sand with out bending and twisting so this is what i do....

now if i tried to sand them holding them they would bend all over the place so i use the hold and fold to hold the parts and u can really go to town sanding the life out the part

nearly got the sides done i really glad that i didn't glue them on at least now i can take them off and put them some where safe so they wont get damaged

Just want to tell you.... Don't shave off Good 3D details... for Flat P.E. ones...

use your judgment on some of those blings you want to add.... as often....
those P.E. sets are very complete when it comes to part counts, but to what expense ?

still plugging away... :hi:

onto the gun mount not much to add to this so got cracking

right this is where my problems started cut these parts of the first set was ok then the door went so went to answer came back and god knows who nicked them but three were gone so had to scratch build the other set
this is the last of the three

had to get this out again

got the measurement of the original part

and started to replicate 9 in case i lose one

then once done they look like this

then start to make the ends the same way

and bingo all done
