1/32 scale tanks - What happened to them?

Post by HazySmithers »

Hello!

I'm looking for WW2 british tanks in the 1/32 scale. I'm sure that kits in this scale used to exist.

Anyone here able to help me find some or know why I can't find any anywhere?

We have 1/32 scale steam locomotives and would like to load their rolling stock with British WW2 Panzers.

I've seen diecast models in this scale but want to build my own.

Many thanks!

Andrew.

That's a good point and I checked what it looked like and I was surprised at how much of a difference it is at that scale.

As a last resort I will have to go for a 1/35 scale but its not ideal. Others may not notice but when you know - you know. If you know what I mean ;)

I have to say that the size difference between 1/35 and 1/32 is pretty significant, you would not think that in the first place. It really shows when it comes to figures, i dare to say that i can distinguish a 1/35 scale fig from a 1/32 scale one.

I know that Airfix used to do a 1/32 Crusader tank Mk111 and also the 17 lb anti tank gun with a White scout car. The Crusader and anti-tank gun are now available for pre-order on their site. HTH
