How to Get Hold of Tamiya Parts?

Post by Jagdpanzer »

Hi,

I have been reviewing my stash and I have a few half built Tamiya kits. The reason they were abandoned appears to be that parts were lost / damaged/ scavenged for other builds.

I have tried emailing Tamiya customer service (insert irony) with no response. Does anyone know of a way to get hold of Tamiya parts?

There are some suppliers on ebay who sell some sprues, but your best bet is to call around local hobby stores and clubs and of course, resource like ISM - you might find some people here have the spares in their stash. I know after only doing 20 or so kits I've already got a box full of spares...

Hmm. It's stuff like air intake pipes for an early tiger and poly caps. I recall years ago I found a site that sold parts but for the life of me I can't recall the name!
