P-51 walk around

Post by Pierce »

In Aug 2014 Offutt AFB had their annual airshow. As an MP I had to work but there are perks. I was given the opportunity to crawl under and get into the cockpit of a P-51. I took as many pics as I can for reference. So here they are. They are in no particular order.

Some great reference photos mate, thanks for sharing. I made a Revell 1/48 scale P-51D Mustang earlier this year in the same colors- "Miss Marilyn II".
