Yak triplets

Post by Migrant »

These are Mikro-Mir 1/144 Yak UT-1 kits, which come three in a box. They're pretty nice considering their size but I did add cockpits, replace windscreens, add fins to the engine cylinders and replace some of the struts with stretched sprue.

WOW! I struggle with 1/48 fiddly bits! These are amazing.
Some days it's not even worth chewing through the restraints!

:jd: Wow! Thats tiny! That detail is superb at this scale. Stunning work, mate. I could never build that tiny aircraft, I might sweep it up when I'm cleaning the workbench. Where did you get these kits, they look awesome.

Cheers. These were given to me, but they're available online from Hannants, and several eBay sellers. They've also just released a 1/144 Yak-11 (two kits in the box).
