Revell F-104G/C Starfighter

Post by DBMiller »

I am hesitant about joining this build because of the other groups I'd like to join. Also, I am soooooo slow, but, a full year might just work for me!
As usual, another ancient kit that I've had for about 20 years!

Some extras that I bought ages ago. I think I will be adding quite a bit to this though.

This is the real jet in these markings.

I Effin' love this plane! Really interested to see how this goes together. Been tempted by Italeri's new release of the 104. Good luck with the build, hope you've got space for it, lol!

I haven't actually worked on this since I first posted what I will be building. I've been busy with the Marder and a bit on the Yamato. So, just so you don't think I gave up, here are the sprue and instruction shots you've all been waiting for! I bought this kit many years ago on a discount table. Many of the parts are broken off the sprues but they seem to be all there. Also, there is a mix of pretty nicely molded and very soft looking parts. And, rubber tires! No painting! Luckily, I won't need any of the pylons or weapons, just wing tanks.

The old decals. Very nasty but nice markings.

Not much in the way of instructions, but there are a nice set of choices for markings for the kit decals.

Nice looking vintage kit. Hope it won't give you nearly as much trouble as your KC did. Can't wait to see it built up.

Maybe I'll have to squeeze in a Starfighter between all my Phantoms....

Phantoms. Lots of them! and some other flying and tanking machines
