I've been taken by the Sherman bug. Procrastinating on current builds and watching "Kelly's Heroes", "Fury" and to a lesser extent a George Peppard movie called "Tobruk" ( featuring the not often seen Panzer M48), and of course all the sterling builds on the forum. I had a go at this one last weekend.



Picked it up on special for $28.95 and I've got to say it was a great bargain. My first dragon kit, and it was a pleasure to build.









Instructions got me a couple of times. Firstly on the filters which were back to front on the part numbering, and then on the Commanders cupola.







It took me a couple of hours to notice it so I was able to resoften the glue and fix things up. The photos don't do the cast texture justice. Look forward to getting some paint down.

My first Dragon kit certainly wasn't a pleasure to build, though it was only the second kit I built.
I got a headache and almost fainted before the end...
I love how it turned out though.

Cheers Coen. I figured the tank would've been near sand blasted regularly. Plus, between the decals and painted band on the turret there were two different yellows and the band was a little wonky in places.
