Bought this kit a few months back and cant think of anything else worthier than this sig to build this beauty.

No dio base planned, but i will add crew (if i think there suitable) and i have a wittman figure knocking about too

I'm always interested in seeing figures of Wittmann.
I haven't seen that set before so you've got my attention with it haha.
It's really an excellent match for that kit too.

I just added another two tigers to the stash and again I'm having a dilemma which one to build. Think I'm gonna stick to the late wittman as I've got a set of friul for a late so it makes sense too.

Got a few Tiger 1's now, so you can see the trouble I've had choosing

Made a start to this tonight, lovely kit thats going together great.

Got all the torsion bars on ready for the road wheels, which ill approach at a later date.

More work today, lots of parts attached including getting the hull buttoned up, tow cables on etc and the rest of the zim armour plates attached.

Berna clamps used properly they don't fall off ;)

So,after just 4 days it's all built along with the friul tracks. There's a few more things to add but I'll add those once it's been weathered etc as I'll end up knocking them off lol

Thought I was finished with this but I left a few things off and mike kindly pointed out a few things I'd left off. I added the front zim plate on the lower hull and put the pe zim plate in the right place (damn instructions) while at it I removed one of the side skirts and added more damage to the rest of them :thumb2:

I also got it primed using the badger black primer :cheers2:

So got the camo pattern done today, used a mixture of box art, book pictures (thanks mike) and my own idea to get this pattern, if it looks crap so be it lol.

I used mig numbers 02, 11 and 15 and gave my iwata custom a good run today and its superb :thumb2:

That pattern is nearly impossible to spray without overspraying, yet you did it neatly. SKILLS DUDE!!!!

Cheers for the kind comments fellas

More work to the wittman tiger. Gloss coated decaled, chipped and matt coated. Friul tracks were burnished with track fluid. Wheel edges treated with metal pigment and Matt coated. Now ready for a filter and oil dot filter
