King tiger dio

Post by Paul »

So I'm building the dragon king tiger and I've got a base for a small ish dio, I can fit the tank on it and a small vehicle as well but I'm unsure what I should pair up with king tiger.

Any suggestions

Some tank crew/soldiers with a Kubelwagen loaded with supplies or small recce tank (the latter would take time though), or a burnt out jeep and panzergrenadiers??

Thanks I didn't realised a Sherman qualified as a small vehicles :thumb1: but that would be very cool with a broken track, shell hole, drooped gun etc

True the Panzer VIB is a true beast!! It was comparatively big even in 1/76 scale so i'm scared of even touching a 1/35 kit!!

How about something small next to it to show off the size of the Tank, like a dispatch rider, or a Feldgendarme directing traffic?

How about a White M3 scout car, with the crew taken captive by Panzer Grenadiers?

Hi Paul, as you are doing the King Tiger as a command vehicle, you could add a senior officer (Oberst or above) in the Kubelwagon as a briefing/post briefing diorama.
