Tamiya 35215 Panzer III Ausf. L build log

Post by brood31877 »

This is my first model kit for awhile. I'm just going for a clean build, and I will be doing a DAK paint and weathering scheme. I added a Tamiya PE set, thanks to TacticalJackolope's video of his build and review. I will be using mostly Ammo of Mig paint's and AK weathering goodies.

On to the pictures!

All of the goodies I have so far.

Looks good! If you haven't used ammo primer before, then I think you gonna be a happy little camper. Looks like a easy Tamiya build. Is there clear plastic for the commander cupola?

Good luck and happy modelling.

Just a small update as I am waiting for some goodies to come in the mail.

Image
Track ground contact surface primed.

Image
Road wheel side.

Image
A set of spare track links for front hull.

Image
A test of the primer on a spare road wheel.

Image
Wheels ready for primer.

Image
Return rollers.

As Gustav said.....I am very impressed with the Ammo primer so far. I am not experienced at all, and the tracks went very smoothly. I will do a review on all of the products I use (except the kit, Tacticaljackolope's video review is amazing.) from a beginner modeler's perspective. As always thanks for looking and providing feedback. If you like visit my blog for more pictures here
