Tiger Bible

Post by Coen »

This is an excerpt from the "Tiger Bible" being used by some of the fellas involved in the 2015 Tiger I SIG.
This part is the most useful part (in my opinion)

I know,me too :wall: Maybe we should all bum-rush Ampersand Publishing to try to get them to start publishing this gem again.

I really appreciate you posting these pics Mike as I am really starting to love Tigers now,but for my build of Tiger 100 of the 502nd it raises more questions than answers :wall: There are several discrepancies between the Dragon instructions and this book.If David Byrden really did help Dragon on this kit I don't know who to believe....my inner rivet-counter is about to have a meltdown.....

Was able to get my copy for AUD50 on local ebay, absolute bargain and has been indispensable for my 1/16 Tiger build both planning and execution....

There are a few other references too worth getting, the "Tigers in Combat 1 and 2" by Wolfgang Schneider and any of the Tiger books by Thomas Jentz/Hilary Doyle.

Combined together I've been able to make up a rivet counters dream spreadsheet on most of the major nuances/production changes of the Tiger, I need to update it though - keep finding new information!
