Ive done one like you but with a churchill. If i would change on my churchill, I would have focused more the chipping on the edges than the plates. It gives the more of a 3d effect and emphasis the diffrent areas on the tank. It gives it a more realistic look aswell. Its quite hard for the eye to not give the tank certain defined areas to look. But this is just my opinion. We all have to find our ways and make it our own. Good luck and happy modelling.
