Putty Drying Times

Can anybody help, I've tried Tamiya Bacis, Deluxe Materials Perfect Plastic and Squadron Red putties and all of them dry too quickly and are too runny.

I love using Milliput but it takes too long to set and is very hard when it comes to applying.

Is there anything in between, something say that takes 10 minutes to set and has the consistency of Plasticine?

For epoxies: Green Stuff from Citadel dries in just a few hours and Tamiya Quick Dry Epoxy Putty aswell.

Mr. Hobby's Dissolved Putty is perhaps something else you can look at but I'm not sure how long it takes to set.

What I always use is ordenary car-putty. From the brand Alabastine. ( you probably know it, it’s original a English brand). You just put it on, and than rub carefully over it with a cotton swab made wet in nailpolishremover without aceton. It than will be superb smooth and you (almost) don’t have to polish. It wil be complety dry in about 24 hours. Good luck. ( and it is much cheaper than Tamiya or Revell putty, more money left for kits )
