Tamiya light curing putty-bad adhesion.

Post by Linus75 »

Hello.

I´m new to the forum and I have a question about Tamiya light curing putty- I can´t get it to adhere (stick) to the plastic even thou I have sanded and cleaned the area with IPA.
I have tried different curing times but it does not matter.
Have anyone tried this putty with good experience?
I like the idea of the fast curing times.

As far as i'm aware it has zero adhesion at all - it just sets in place. So for gaps it works reasonably, but if subjected to any shear it just chips off.

It's also a bit of a pig to sand for the same reason......
