LIKE-like button

Hi, just a suggestion from a first impression of many build logs -- a button that allows users to just "like" a certain post. This can cut down on the number of (possibly) gratuitous followups just saying "nice job so far!" while still giving the poster some feedback that somebody is reading their updates and providing encouragement. Some may still prefer the personal touch of a followup post and that's great too. But it can allow questions or comments to appear more prominently in the thread, and more concise build logs overall.

Maybe something that could be investigated by the site admin on the next phpBB update?

Hi Wally, I agree, it would be a cool function and it's something I looked at a while ago, but it tends to promote like fishing - people just posting to receive likes. Don't want this forum to turn into one of those, if you know what I mean

Wont happen I'm afraid, all that does is cut down on the forum posts which are totally counter productive for a forum, that feeds and grows on its members posts.
