Finally made a small start to this baby. Just happy I could squeeze some time in even if it was only a little.

The engine was ok to build. Got a tiny bit fiddly with the exhaust in sections that should really have been just one mold imo but otherwise nice with no issues.

Will make a start on the cockpit tomorrow hopefully.

Thank you sir :th:

Another small update

Cockpit assembly

Basic enough cockpit but I don't think much of it will be visable even for a 1/32.

Some parts of the chassis attached no problems at all, nicely fitting followed by a little dry fitting

All for now :hi:

Thanks again guys :th:

So you have a couple of options with showing guns both on top of the wing and in the wing if your folding the wings. I will not be folding the wings but I still sprayed the two interior guns on each side.

Image

Image

As you can see they have very good potential for showing in the up position.

So what a pain in the buttinsky putting the wings together. They are absolute crap. Way too big and point blank refused to match up never mind actually go together. They popped off two times and in the process of sanding and repairing I damaged quite a lot of detail which I rescribed and smoothed out. Lol I managed to weaken the plastic from sanding :ooops:

So the difficult bit over I pressed on after my freakout

You can see the wing root went together a dream really and so I primed her up and then post shaded. Where I am at now.

I forgot I started masking the canopy up and worked to get the seem line off.

Image

Used a blade to get rid of the rough edge from seem first then worked it off using Ultimate sanders which are great :

Looking brilliant! That canopy just shines!
And nice work getting those wings to behave in the end. Never much fun when they don't co-operate.
Paint time! Sweet! :cheers2:
