Tie Interceptor

Post by McLeod »

Ok so I know its not technically a scale model, but as I dont have any pics of my old models or any of my models either, until I get a project under way its the only pic I have to post lol.
Its a Lego Ultimate Collectors Series Tie Interceptor, to give an idea of scale the speaker its on is 18in deep and 10in wide - so shes a big girl.

I'm considering putting her on ebay to help finance me getting back into modelling, should help as it is one of the rarest Lego sets now as it was discontinued a while ago and I still have the box and instructions too.
There can be only one!
Unless your building two, or three, or four - ah to hell with it.

Those things take as much patience as model kits and they keep the carpet monster busy. Very nice, If you have all the instructions and so forth I suppose it may fetch quite a price. You may want to wait until the new Star Wars movie comes out then interest will be higher.

Star Wars merchandise has always been big business so I am hoping that Round2 or Revell get a license to re-tool or re-box some
of the old kits when the next film series comes out.

Would love to see the Imperial Shuttle, Speeder Bike, Millennium Falcon, X-Wing, AT-AT etc available again with out having to pay stupid prices of
Fine Molds or second hand from Flea Bay or those crappy pre-painted snap kits Revell does.
