Some close up of the frame.

After doing these parts I can clearly say that this build is for experience modellers. (wich I'm not : , but I do have good eyes and hands coordination). The instruction are not clear at all and a lot of dry fitting is needed to figure out the right place of the pieces.

Another thing is the stretch mark... the pieces are full of them wen they got here and even those that do not have them get them wen I cut them off the spruce. There is alot of push pin to wich is not the hard to get rid of but some are in akward place.

Now time to go to the engine. then finish the frame.

I will be posting more photo of the build soon

Looks like a well detail kit. To bad about the marks and instructions. Is there some boxart with the kit? Nice to have in the intro.

Yea there is a lot of PE parts, there is 5 sheets of it... i spend 6 hours today doing the windows, they got some small hinges

Here is where im at for the moment.

I completed the front grill and main windows. The front grill is pretty easy to put in, just some sanding is needed to fit in the radiator. As for the windows (I decided to put them in open position because I want to picture this model in a hot summer day with engine problem) they were a pain in the ass to install. There are some hinges that are not easy to do

Here are the dorrs with the detail set from lz model, pretty straight foward to build it. Only problem is the superglue... Anybody can refer me a good crazy glue that does not dry at contact...
DSC_7578_small.jpg
here is a close up view of those hinges...

Well Sorry for the long update, I have been busy with work stuff.
So here is where i'm at in the build

I finish the rear section except for the door hindges. Waiting for a .6mm wire to come in.
DSC_7587_small.jpg
As for the front I just need to finish the engine cover ( gona put it open since im gona do a little scratch build on the engine)
DSC_7589_small.jpg
As for the door i did a little bit of scratch build to make it look more realistic. I got the detail kit from LZ models and they give you some PE to go around the doors. But in the corners they are open and in the pictures you get with the instruction they are close. So I build up the corners using left over PE Materials.
DSC_7590_small.jpg
The plan now is to sratch build the dashboard ( since the kinda forgot about it I guess, It's just a flat pieces of plastic) Assemble the doors than painting. SO I will be posting more update in the upcoming weeks, but I'm starting a new build so this one might get push to the side a little bit.

That is superb work bud!! Truely excellent stuff.
All that extra work will totally sell this piece.

The CA glues that I've been using for years now I love to death.
These are the two that I use the most...

I've no idea were you live so hopefully you can find some. I'm in Canada and I have little trouble getting it. Fellas in the UK can as well.
