And after about an hours work its......erm......built :jd:

Really easy to clean up, high quality resin and the fit was very good.

R2 looks like the Stuart the Minion...I'd paint him yellow like a :banana:

The Eggs wing coming along well. Sprayed in Tamiya XF2 and hand painted "exhausts".

Kit decals.....well I'm not sure what's going on there, there a tad too big lol. So a couple nights masking I airbrushed all the markings on. Still got R2 to paint and then on to weathering,

Whenever possible I always paint stripes, is much nicer I think.

So i added some chipping to the painted parts giving a worn look, then gave it all a gloss coat using aqua gloss, and using an oil wash gave it an all over panel wash.

Finally i airbrushed some "blaster" scorch marks and oil streaks.

The R2 unit was hard painted and oil washed and the eggs wing mounted to a stand :banana:
