So a little update before the final reveal
Firstly an apology to clem for stealing his idea for the base :cheers2: clem :th:
The first thing to do was to eat some cream eggs 2 is enough but the rest of the six pack was nice to lol then cut out the desired piece of foil wrapper shape and stick down with pva then blended with filler (sorry forgot to take pics it's my first sig so keep forgetting) and then airbrushed silver learned a lot to help in the future It's not perfect but I'm happy

Then on to the fuel tanks fully wrapped like the eggs

So with only the decals left to do I thought I might have a bash at stealing clem base idea it won't look anywhere near as good as Clems because this is a first for me so if you want the how to go have a look at Clems thread :th:
So a few pics of it

So that's where it's at just now not much more to do till its done
Thanks for looking :cheers2:

Awesome stuff bro...... That scatter has really done the job on the grassed areas...
Little tuft of static grass between the concrete finishes it off mate.
You did excellent on the runway, all streaked and looking almost real... :th:
Well done again...... Eggs away!.....
Oh yeah, the bombs and "foiling" on the side!....... Awesome idea... Love it!......
Cosford Sunday dude??.... :thumb1:
