My video logs of my group build so far are below. I am hoping to do Oddball and his three shermans, possibly as they leave the railway tunnel. Also going to do the half tracks and two jeeps as they appear out of the front of the farm house when Kelly discusses the gold with Big Joe and the lads.

So far I have started on the first M4A3 which is for one of oddballs shermans, the one furthest from the camera in the scene. As there is not that many scenes with it in showing the stowage etc I have used some artistic licence to do it.

Kits I'm using are:
Tamiya M4A3 x 3
Dragon T19 (m3 halftrack with 105mm howitzer) for Cowboys halftrack
Lion roar metal 76mm barrels
Tamiya US army vehicle stowage set
Tamiya US army weapon set (need a shed load of thompsons)
Plus model bazooka set
2x Tamiya willies jeeps
1x italeri jeep
eduard Tamiya jeep photo etch set - to do big joes command jeep
railway lantern in brass

Also got to get the following:
AFV club .50 cal machine gun set for the plane 0.50cal gun as oddballs Sherman has a .50 cal from a plane

Been working on the various jeeps so far
Kellys jeep is done with parts of the eduard set I bought for big joes command jeep
Big joes jeep is part built along with the etch radio, I may have to remove the wire guards to the front as I can't remember if it appears in the film. Also bought a soldering iron and tried my hand at the bucket for oddballs Sherman.

I have ordered some dio stuff so I can do the scene of the farm yard, also ordered the last of the shermans a dragon M4A3

latest update, however since then I have added some planks made from wooden coffee stirrers, a hidden rifle, a oil can and a plant pot made from a German helmet.

All three of Oddballs shermans are now complete and painted ready for weathering etc. The left and right kits are Tamiya M4A3 with lionroar metal barrel with stowage by Tamiya, valuekits and Legend. The middle one is Oddballs Sherman with lionroar barrel and legend stowage set. All have been painted with life colour paints and the right one weathered with Coens patent 'chicken nipple wash'

The Chicken Nipple® is also helped with the application of the flowering mountain cow blossom with a hint of rosemary and goats tears pin wash
