BT-7 Tamiya 1/35

My comrades,

What an awesome kit this is I must tell you. If you dont have one, I strongly recommend getting this little beast. It was a pleasure to put it together, and now im working on painting this guy. Almost finished with the tracks, but here is a small work in progress.




also loving the Paint Retarder from Tamiya. It sure helps to get that nice satin finish to Tamiya paints. But my heart is still with Mr.Color



Little bit of modulation on the shadows and highlights. No specific pattern or discipline, pretty much quick freestyle highlights





After spraying Vallejo satin varnish, the little Soviet is ready for washes, oils, and scratches



Japanese oils, I love them so much.



Chipping is done by thin brush using AK Interactive chipping color. Another fine product from our friend mister Jimenez


A little bit of streaking, and fading. Also mud is almost there as well.









Next week im planing to finish the tracks, and start photographing this dudeski

I built that very same kit last year, I totally agree. Superb kit. I think it took about a total of three hours to build.
That was a bit of a disappointment, I prefer a more complex build, but the end result was really nice.
Highly recommended kit for an easy afternoon build.
That's a superb weathering job to RK. Nicely done.
Any diorama planned?
