This is my test subject for the Badger primer I bought off Amazon, thanks to those who assisted in the purchase.
At first glance after reading the instructions on the bottle I thought this may be difficult to use. Badger recommend a .5mm needle which I don't have and between 20 to 30psi air pressure. I have a .35mm needle in my Sparmax DH-103 Iwata ripoff copy which I use for primers and clear coats.
I left the compressor at 22psi, gave the bottle a good shake put some in the airbrush cup and sprayed away. Excellent stuff, sprayed with no problems and went down nice and thin and very smooth when it dried. There was no pooling around raised edges that you can get with some acrylic paints and it dried very rapidly, 22C with 56% humidity in the cave. Best off there was no odours like you get with some primers. Cleaning was simple using Ultimate airbrush cleaner. Brilliant stuff. Some pictures. I tried to get some decent close ups but I have no macro rings for this lens in my camera.






You can see how smooth it is on the fuel tanks.
I have now done the wheels, lower hull and turret basket and the primer is flawless, my building isn't so I've got some filling to do.

Yup that badger stuff is the kitten's nickers! It and the alclad are the only primer that I uses these days, but the Stynylrez is the first choice.
