Here we are folks, the finished article!
Can i say a BIG thankyou to everyone that has looked in on the build and those that have shown support, and also to ISM for hosting this build and finally drawing me into this fantastic forum and getting me into building alongside other fantastic modelers
I hope everyone else got as much enjoyment from their own builds as I did from this; its a fantastic little kit, and can't wait until next year to get another on the go!! Enough waffle, here are the pictures you all came here to see.....

Thank you all for the kind words, it means a lot to me! If it wasn't for inspiration from Outbackmodeler I don't think the dio would have been anywhere near as good. Hard to think that's my first attempt at one! But I've caught the bug now and just bought the new tooled airfix Lancaster and bomb reloading set to build the mother of all dio's!!

Fantastic build - goes for both the F22 and the dio base.

That F22 has a lot of detail for an eggplane I think, makes me want to build a 1/48 version of it....

Its such a cool looking plane, even compressed to egg plane shape. Great job with the base also!
