Dragon 1/6 MG 42 with Lafette

Hey guys i wanted to build something else and i still had this in my stash! it's a very nice kit with surprisingly lot of parts! the mg is huge! really it is huge! i assembled the whole mg this evening, i will go on with the feldlafette tomorrow!

i really have to point out how well dragon did on the barrel changing mechanism! i know the mg very well because i work with it everyday and it is really replicating close to the real thing. you can open it and change barrels and it kind of feels real =) in reality you need a lot of power to switch the barrel.

you can load it (pull the handle back), theres a spring mechanism. the bipod works like the real one as well!









i'm really looking forward to mount this thing on the lafette =)

Looks cool. Nice change to the usual aircraft or vehicles. I am looking forward to seeing you paint this up.
