Italeri (Hasegawa Rebox) 1/48 Hawker Typhoon Mk1b Jim Baldwins 48 hour D Day Group build

Post by Paul »

Pictures are at the bottom of the page :cheers2:

Along with a few other guys on you tube and the Hangout i built this great kit in about 30 hours over a 48 hour period starting 12.01 am Friday 5th June and ending 11.59 Saturday 6th June.

As i say theres 30 hours work here and I'm very happy with the results.

The Hangouts can be found below 5 in total, beware the language, subject matter and blelching may offend some people lol

Great kit which can be bought cheap for around £24

Needing just a few upgrades to make it a bit better (resin exhaust, wheels and pilots seat)

Stunning finish on your build. Looks to be a nice 1/48 kit.

Amazing work in 48 hours. Watched it and you all did a great job, real dedication. Paul I was wondering did you spray the gun weathering effect? And if not how did you do it? Not many how to videos online for that effect.thanks
