Pretty straight forward, I've primed the parts already, should be able to get the engine painted and weathered today.

Cool stuff, more vehicles :thumb2:
I read about your new metallic paints to replace the chrome...like to see that
I got some AK True Metal aluminum paste stuff that look cool, haven't used it yet in a build..the stuff in the tube at the bottom

Scott,

Saw the same video! It's gonna be a couple of days before I get to that part, just finishing up the engine wash then the base coat of rust over all the parts. I'll have the videos on my YouTube channel!

Haven't been on the bench in a couple of weeks! Just been way to busy with work and home stuff! Did manage to get on yesterday and do some painting!

haven't had much time at the bench these past couple of weeks. My daughter just moved back home for 3 weeks, before she heads out to Swaziland, Africa! She joined the Peace Corps and is leaving on the 23rd of June for a 2 1/2 year stint, so we are getting her prepared for her journey! Here is the progress so far!

Paint job is okay, but I'm going to be rusting this up, so it plays into the look. I did use AK Interactives Extreme Metal Paints for the chrome work, the stuff works great!

Very clean job
You are doing yourself proud on this :thumb2:
Awesome to see some good automotive model building
Run some sand paper on those tires and rough them up to go with your weathering...you can spin them in a drill

Well she didn't come out like I hoped. I use MIG Chipping fluid, but I forgot to put it on! I had so much time between coats and away from the bench, I totally forgot! It's a cross between camo and rust! I explain it in the YouTube video!
