This is a 1/35 diorama using Masterbox US Marines and a Tamiya Japanese figure.

It represents a US Marines Patrol in the Solomon Islands being stalked by a Japanese patrol.

The base is scratch built from a picture frame.

The water is acrylic resin poured over prepared groundwork and plants to represent the river bed.

The jungle plants are mostly plastic aquariun plants re painted with some woodland scenic products and some herbs, and T bags for the jungle floor.

The palm trees and palm plants are hand made using wire DAS modeling clay, paper leafs cut and frilled and pot puri for the coconuts.

The snake is Milliput.

I used Tamiya and Vallejo paints.

Cheers
