Hyacinth

Post by sdufresn1988 »

Seven months ago, I went to my local hobby shop and purchased the Tamiya 1:35 Mk IV Male tank. I found it to be an easy build with few fit issues and no flashing. I would have to say this is one of my best builds (although some places could use some touching up),with the fear inducing name of "Hyacinth", there is nothing to wrooy about when building this kit.

Nice work! It makes me want to get into models from the Great War.

I always wanted to build a WWI armor or vehicle and I think you just inspired me to start with one. Congrats on finely built model

Hey thanks! It was a really good build, looking to do a diorama with the figures (I'm thinking Ypres 1915 or possibly Vimy Ridge once the master box "Over the Top" set comes out.) sometime in the future. Good luck on choosing kit :).

Looks really nice mate. If I may just make a suggestion for the future. I see you have added some weathering to the hull, which looks great. But the tracks are very clean compared to this. So a gentle suggestion for the future would be to just try to tie the hull and tracks weathering together.

Build as it stands looks very nice though, good work there.
