Problem with posting

Hi there. I have a question regarding posting long posts here on ISM:

-I had just finished my long build update on one of the GB on the forum, but when I clicked 'prewiew' to check it the hole post disappeared and it said I had to log in in order to post on the forum.
I hadn't drafted the post, so I didn't have a copy of it. But when I tried to go back to the post I had written,
the page was blank. So I actually lost houres of work into that!!

This has happend many times before to me, and sometimes I struggle to get my build updates posted.

So is there any way I could fix this? Any help or suggestions are very welcome.

I would suggest that somehow you are being logged out of the forum before you post, hence losing the post.

I would double check that you are remaining logged into the website before you try to write a post, and most likely that's your issue.

I have this all the time since I updated my iPad. I used to stay logged in all the time, but since the update, it keeps logging me out. Even after I've checked 'remember me' box?!
Sometimes it shows me logged in for a few pages, then logs me out.

Now, before I post anything, I log out and back in again to make sure it'll be ok.

I don't use a PC, so don't know if you have the same problem, but I would think the solution is the same.

I'm used to write my posts on my PC, so I have quite good network that doesn't drop very often. I always check that I am logged in, but still it seems that I get logged out for an unknown reason after a while.
And as Chief said, I have too tried the "remember me" button, but to no help.
I've heard that there is some kind of logged in time out on the forum, but this doesn't explain why it's happening when I've clicked the remember me
button before logging in.
