I have modeling for some time now with a break of a few years. I am an airplane fanatic and love to build.

I spent 8 years in the US Navy working on the F/A-18 Hornet as an electronic tech "AT". The first 4 were with VFA-203 (Blue Dolphins) out of NAS Cecil Field in Jacksonville Florida and the last 4 in VFC-12 (Fighting Omars) out of NAS Oceana in Virginia Beach Virginia.

I am a big fan of the hornet and became so when 2 hornets from my squadron had a mid air collision with each other and both made it home, safe. One missing half a wing and tail and the other missing the canopy and the whole nose forward of the windscreen.

Well that is my babble. I think this site is great, very informative and allot of builders with great talent.

Thanks
