1/35 Tiger 007 AFV-Club FINISHED

Hi everyone!

This is one of my very rare build topics
I'm Jan for the ones of you that don't know me and i'm 20 years old, I have a YT channel called RollingThunderModel, which takes much of the spare time i have left.

But i wanted to take the time and share his build with you, it's Michael Wittmann's Tiger 007.
Tiger 007 is a very debated subject and many people have build it in various ways.
I want to build it as historically correct if possible, and i hope you guys can help me with that.

The build is about 90% done now, but i'm on the point were i can still change some things if i have to.

So please take a look at my video if you want and leave a comment or post here of what you think. If there is anything which is wrong please tell me

As for the pictures there is a tutorial about that on the forum youtube channel and on here in the ISM tutorial section
It is not that hard to do once you know how

Very fine work Jan.
Wonderful modifications and scratch building.
Excellent attention to detail as well.

There are only two things that I would note. The first would be the star antenna... it would be extremely rare and unusual to have that deployed while the tank was moving. It was very delicate and damaged easily, so when on the march or in combat it was stowed.
The other is the upper bow plate. It should have zimmerit on it bud. Only a few very late tigers had that area clear of zim. The Normandy Tigers all were zimmed aside from one or two.

I am planning to make a diorama with the Tiger in rest, and the crew having a conversation or a smoke so the antenna could be deployed this way.
While building it i was not sure about the zimmerit on the bow plate, most Tigers in Normandy do have it indeed. I am certainly going to do some more research on that and i think i am going to add it later this week

Hey everyone! Sorry it took so long for the next update. Vacation and other things kept me away from this Tiger for a few weeks
But she is finished, and i wanted to show it on ISM aswell.

The only thing I hate about this Tiger, is that weld seam I made across the roof.... I explain it in the video, but i'm just ashamed i did that haha.

Nice work on the weathering too, the exhausts are really well done.
