Norwegian F 104 nato fighter by Andreas

Post by Andreas »

:welcome: it's a bit late, but this is my entry in the homeland GB. I am building this kit straight out of the box, and will be my first attempt at natural metal finish.Image
The Norwegian markings that come in the kit are excellent. The aircraft they represent are from Bodø airbase in Norway. Where it had a fatal crash because of complications during landing Image
I will do sprue shots when I return from vacation

One of my favorite cold-war aircrafts, looks like Mach3 while sitting on the tarmac....

Good luck with the build!

Good luck with your builds, it will do a nice model , but carefull with some step of the instructions as they aren't so clear ... I make the Bundesfighter kit fr the NAvy SiG and alert for some of the errors in the instructions (cockpit panel must be inserted before the two fuselages are joined ...) , but do not worry it will do a very nice kit and that all metal look will do a eye catcher :th:

:cheers2:
Cheers ,
António

Firs up in the instructions is the cockpit. And it went together like a treat Image
It went along so smoothly that I forgot to take pictures in the start. Image

Looks great so far. Keep looking at mine in the box and talking to it. I'm trying the Prince Charles approach to model building.
