mobile version

Post by MarkVerploeg »

I don't know if i am the only one in this but ever since the layout/style or whatever it is called (the way it looks) of the forum changed a while ago i can no longer see all the things on my phone that i could see with the old style
I can still see thing like the amount of views and replies on the computer but not on my phone and to be perfectly honest : i only use the computer to post updates and other larger post
But when i want to thank some one for a comment on a build or a other kind of smaller post i use my phone as that is quick and easy in my opinion
So my question is : are those stats not availble at all on a mobile device or is there a setting for it that i simply can't find

It is nothing important but i always liked to check that sort of thing just like i like to see where some one is from
Both those things are not that important but still i find those things intresting to see
Cheers Mark

I know what you mean, mine is the same too....

Phone..

...and my Android tablet..

The phone doesn't show the last post option.
I too only ever really reply from my Laptop. When browsing while out and about and on my phone, I have to go into the thread to see the latest posts.
Is this what you mean?? If so, your not the only one mate. I Don't know if the same applies for the I-Phone/I-Pad devices..

Almost the same Andy
I can see the part with who placed the last post if i turn my phone 90° so i have a wide screen
I can't see those 2 rows in between the topic and the last post row
I wouldn't know about Apple devices either as i don't have them so i can't tell if there is a difference
As for tablets , i again don't have one nor am i planning on getting one as i don't really see myself using one (they are more a fun toy to me then a device that i will use)
Now that i think of it it may be a screen size problem
A phone has a screen of just a few inches and a computer has one of 17 inch or more in most cases

I expected that
I would think it was weird if a Apple device could show more then a Android

But there was no problem in using the forum
That works just fine as it always did
My point was only that you don't get the "full screen" with all the same features
I can do all the things on my phone that i can do on a computer
It was more out of curiousity to be honest

Hi guys
I think i know what caused it
i upgraded my phone from a Galaxy S5 to a S6 edge + wich has a bigger screen and now i get the same layout that i get on a computer
so i think it must have been the screen limitations from that phone
