KV-1 & Half Truck Dio

Hi guys,

Started with the Winter Dio of my holiday series.

I started out with the left over plateau from my earlier dio.

Added some Modellier Masse to create tracks in the mud.


Than I added a thin new layer of the dirt-glue-water mix.
Some stones and sand and some twigs and plants.


















So now it's a summer dio.

But next up is the completed 'winter' dio after I added the snow!
A mixture of flower and salt. Another first experiment.

Added the snow to the dio. A mixture of flower and salt.
Stuck it to the surface with white glue.

And here are the final pict.











































That's it folks.

One more holiday build to go.
It's the German Half Track Sd.Kfz. 7/1.

I liked both versions of the dio actually, summer and winter.
The Mediterranean summer in your backgrounds is an interesting contrast to your dio haha.

Awesome as usual, althought I'm curious where did you pick up the Russian half track? , I thought the Russian's used lend lease M3 half tracks?

I picked it up in my local model shop with the rest of them. I never saw the truck before. But I guess the Russians did have some trucks of their own.
