New model shop opening in Glasgow

Sadly as some of you guys will know "jaimisons models" in Glasgow will be closing at the start of May. Ian has been part of the modelling world not only in Glasgow but in Scotland and the northeast of England for many years. For the past 22 years he has been the only true model shop in Glasgow he will be truly missed by the modelling community.
But their loss is the Glasgow I.P.M.S gain as we will be welcoming Ian as a full member of the club.

On hopefully a brighter note, Ian Scott who at present works in the shop is looking for premises to open his own shop in the Glasgow area to continue where Ian left off.
At the present time Ian has opened a Facebook page for the shop "Scott's Models" . I would like to ask if some of you guys could check out and like the page to show support to someone who is going to try and open a models only shop (no R.C ,railways etc just everything styrene) and try and keep the hobby alive. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Everbody ScottsModels has now opened in Glasgow. It opened on Saturday 3rd of October. i wish Mr Scott and his family and friends all the best in their endeavour.
