1/35 DAK Italeri Maultier,Tamiya´s Hannomag & Sd.fkz2

Post by Nach70 »

Been back to modelling recently and excited ´bout a thread in the desert rats GB, that I´ve decided to post my next build, which will be my first (and serious) attempt to build a diorama and figures. :shifty: :shifty: :shifty: :shifty:

A friend of mine knowing I was back into modelling suggested I should have all her brothers kits that were at her mothers house. As I went to collect them I was stunned to see how much stuff there was. All from the early ´80s.
So much brilliant ( and cheap) stuff to play around with and try new techniques or simply enjoy the build and generosity.

So a big thanks to SUSANA for her kindness. :th: :th: :th:

I chose this for the build ( note that the Maultier has Italeri´s old name still¡¡¡¡¡¡)

Some work in the engine

Primed the chasis, painted it with Vallejo´s Model Air Gray Premier ( 71097), used Ak´s Worn effect to try out the hairspray technique. and then Used Tamiya´s XF-59:
