Nice start so far :thumb2: I have had my eye on this kit so I will be for sure following this build.

Looks like a great kit! :th:
I really have a soft spot for these AA Panzer IV variants; I may pick this one up someday.

It is really a nice kit. So far has gone together pretty easy. The only fit problem was the rear upper hull to the top of the back lower plate. A gap there which I filled today. Dragon uses sprues from other Panzer IV' so this one has locator holes for sturzen brackets on the top hull which also need to be filled. The only other problem I'm working on now is fitting the PE brass catcher netting for the gun. The other nice thing because Dragon includes so many sprues from other variants I'm almost able to build a whole Panzer IV just from spares.

My 'Ostwind' with the primer coat applied. I also got thinking about the 'Wirblewind' sitting partially built in the to do stack, so I pulled it out and started some work on it too. I might be able to paint these up concurrently. I found a zimmerit set in a desk drawer which I bought a couple of years ago and decided to try it out on the 'Wirblewind' Not a perfect fit (designed for the Tamiya PanzerIV J) but not bad either. Think it should look okay under a coat of primer and paint.

Well both have a coat of primer. I usually let my primer coats cure for a week or so before painting.
